This beautiful bird in flight is handmade by Emma using a selection of vintage china, glass and ceramic mosaic tiles on a hand cut wooden base.

The wings are made from pieces of china cut to form individual feathers with little leaf details on the tips. An added delight to this piece are the gold leaf tiles giving subtle sparkle to the base of the wings makes a beautiful gift for your home!  Each unique mosaic is determined by Emma's response to the materials so no two are ever the same.  This mosaic bird is finished using grey grout and the wooden base and sides are painted black before being varnished with a D-hook attached ready to hang.

Measures 20cm from belly to wing tips and 23cm from beak to the tip of the tail
