Self taught artist and designer in Mosaic and Crochet, Emma’s work is led by her heart.  Her obsession and commitment to both art forms has seen her dedicate thousands of hours to both crafts.

Her work and love of colour is an expression of a desire to create value and joy in all that she does.  

Author of Mindful Crochet a book of 35 crochet projects linking crochet with mindfulness, Emma’s classes take you on a journey of creativity that connects you to a peaceful way of being. She guides and encourages participants to be more present and relaxed whilst engaged in the happy experience of creating a work of beauty. As a practicing buddhist and survivor of breast cancer she is committed to helping others manage their pain and anxiety through the magic of making.

As a regular contributor to Simply Crochet Magazine much of her time is spent designing colourful crochet pieces. 

Renowned for her community yarn-bombing exploits she has worked on numerous large scale commissioned yarn installations which visitors to Bath may well have seen. 

 Emma runs regular classes in both crochet and mosaic throughout the year and her general happiness is infectious making learning a new skill an uplifting experience. She also visits primary schools working with staff and children to create commemorative school mosaics.
