This ever popular 3 hour mosaic workshop is perfect for the complete beginner wishing to dip their toes into the wonderful world of mosaic as well as for those wishing to indulge in a bit of creative ‘me time’.

What does the session consist of?

You are greeted with a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of cake to allow you time to ‘arrive’ and settle in.

You will learn how to cut and nibble glass and ceramic tiles using mosaic tile nippers and will be taught about all the various materials that are best suited for mosaic. Emma will teach you the skills required to design and make your own mosaic bird and you will leave with your completed masterpiece and all the mosaic know how so that can continue on your creative journey at home.

Do I need to bring anything?

To get the most out of this experience participants are encouraged to bring along a decorative piece of china that can be incorporated into their work. Charity shops are a haven of teacups and saucers making a great starting point. All additional tools and materials are provided.

Tea, coffee and lovely cake will fuel your three hours.
